Hi my name is Linda Cargill-Selfe and welcome to my “About me Page”

I really appreciate you taking the time to learn a little about me and it also really excites me that you are on this page, because it is living proof that what the mind can conceive and believe you can achieve.

Let me tell you more about why I am saying that!

I have over the journey of my life created quite a successful working career.  I have worked  predominately in the corporate and traditional business arena, and worked my way from being a 14 year old school drop out to heading up a fortune 500 company in the Pacific region. Over a thirty year period I have had the pleasure of working for some of the most amazing companies on the planet and I truly loved my career it was exciting, stimulating and so very rewarding on many levels. I travelled the world attended amazing events and met some of the most extraordinary people. I learned so much from the people I worked with and met, all of this is plus loving what I did made this an incredibly enjoyable experience.

Even though I had a very successful career, promotions and salary  increases came regularly, I always seemed to end up in the same financial position, more money going out than coming in. So I decided  to do something to increase my income, go into my own business! My philosophy at that point was do more and earn more.  I believed I could maintain my existing position and fix my finances once and for all if I could just find something flexible to fit around my already demanding commitments.

I felt my choices were limited because of the demands of my job and I had very limited capital to invest because as I said I always seemed to have more money going out than coming in.  The options that kept coming up over and over again were Home Based Businesses things like Share Trading, On-Line Currency Trading, Network Marketing and Party Plan the issues I had with some were the capital required to set them up or get started or the time that was needed to make them work and I didn’t have the time or the money. Ultimately I made a choice and I took the option that was the most viable for me and gave me the greatest leverage.

Now wind the clock forward about 5 years, I had shifted my focus to my home based business and I was working it on a full time basis. I had some success I was generating a reasonable income but I still had more money going out than coming in.

Thanks to my career journey and the effort I put into studying and doing what I learned I knew that to raise my level of success I just needed to know more. So I began to seriously educate myself on my Industry, I knew if others had created success then so could I.  The more I studied the more I understood the strength of the Home Based Business arena. I really could see the time freedom factor, the power of leveraging and the ability it gave me to help others so my desire to succeed gained even more strength

Through my varied studies I kept hearing about the power of the Internet, it’s a market place of over 2 billion people. I really wanted to be part of that, but when it came to “Blogs” “Pop Ups” “Capture Pages” Keywords, Meta Tags and all the other terminology that went with the net, I had absolutely NO IDEA what all that was about, it all sounded like some kind of Alien language to me one that I wasn’t sure that I would ever grasp. You see I believed I had a “problem” whilst I could send emails and search the net I BELIEVED I was totally TECHNOPHOBIC.

So putting the things I learned into practise became very difficult. I seemed to take one step forward and two back. I found every excuse under the sun not to do what I needed to do, I became my own  master distraction. I was scared I wouldn’t get it right I was sure I needed to know a whole lot more before I could get started I knew there must be some kind of silver bullet. So I began to do more study and I bought courses and books went to seminars, attended webinars and read article after article on the net. I got to the stage of being so overwhelmed with what I was learning that I had no idea what to do next.

I listened to the ease with which the Gen y’s talked about and carried out activities on the net I really wanted to be part of that. I wanted to feel that excitement and fun.

So continuing with my push to learn what the silver bullet was that would deliver my success, I dialled into yet another success story of one of these dynamic young guys when all of a sudden it hit me,  I had an absolute epiphany, I realised there was no silver bullet, they loved and were excited about what they were doing they believed in who they were and what they were doing and they were having fun.

I wanted to do what they were doing, but it wasn’t fun for me I had created a habit of constantly thinking how hard it was and how much I didn’t know, and kept increasing my level of doubt as to whether or not I would ever know and do what I needed to do. ( may be you can relate to this in some way?)

I have always been a believer in positive thinking but what I began to understand, really understand on a conscious level was my success in money or career or relationships was not just a matter of positive thinking it was also a matter of my belief, expectation and loving what I do.

Now wind the clock forward to today …..  and how things have changed here I am creating the results I dreamed of.  Every day I learn more and do more, I love it! I continue to study and put into practise what I learn and what really excites me even more is I am now teaching others to do what I do!

So now you know why I am excited about you visiting my site, it is living manifested proof that if you want something you can achieve it. I wanted it I believed I could achieve it and here it is.

It is my intention through my blog to mentor, share and teach the powers of the magical laws of the universe to those who are asking to learn and who wish to create the life they dream of.
